			In the first of a series of case studies we look at a self-build project undertaken by Chris and Jane Clarke to the design by family practice REED ARCHITECTS LLP who are based in the Welsh border town of Presteigne.
			QUARRY COTTAGE The main sitting room has a vaulted ceiling and the stair descends through this to the open plan dining and kitchen area with wrap-round windows facing the view. The master bedroom has a small balcony giving 180 degree outlook over the Herefordshire countryside.
